Approving the plan to offer activities of "Cultural and Tourism Week - The Southern Cuisine Festival associated with the 2022 Ok Om Bok Festival."
On August 16, the Organizing Committee of Cultural and Tourism Week - The Southern Cuisine Festival associated with the Ok Om Bok Festival met to approve the plan to offer activities during this event in 2022. Mr. Le Thanh Binh, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, and Head of Organizing Committee, chaired the meeting.

Cultural and Tourism Week - The Southern Cuisine Festival, associated with the Ok Om Bok Festival, is an important event the province holds every two years. It aims to preserve and promote good values along with the rich and unique cultural beauty of the Khmer people and introduce to people inside and outside the province the potential and advantages of it, as well as attract investment to the fields, especially culture and tourism.
It is expected that the Cultural and Tourism Week - The Southern Cuisine Festival associated with the 2022 Ok Om Bok Festival will be held with 08 main activities including: the opening ceremony of "Cultural and Tourism Week - The Southern Cuisine Festival"; culinary space in the South of Tra Vinh province in 2022 with the theme "Tra Vinh province's space of folk cakes and cuisine"; organizing a delegation (Fam trip) to survey and introduce new tourist attractions in Tra Vinh province; fairs with topics such as: promotion of Rural Trade and Industry associated with 2022 Ok Om Bok Festival in Tra Vinh province, introduction and honor of OCOP products, handicraft products of Tra Vinh province...; Tra Vinh 2022 amateur dance festival; Activities of exhibition booths displaying typical products of Khmer ethnic people, exhibition "Tourism in the East of the Mekong Delta", photo exhibition with the theme "Economic - Cultural - Social life in Khmer people in Tra Vinh province in 2022"... with physical and sports activities.
The activities are expected to occur in 07 days, from November 2 to November 8, 2022.

Based on the delegates' opinions, Mr. Le Thanh Binh asked the Standing Committee of the Organizing Committee to accept and adjust the plan to suit each specific condition. To promptly coordinate and implement activities to achieve the highest results, Mr. Le Thanh Binh directed the assigned members of the Organizing Committee and sub-committees based on their tasks and functions.
